Posted by Help the Street Animals of Morocco- HSAM on Thursday, 26 October 2017
This year HSAM is celebrating 10 years helping the street animals in Essaouira. I cannot quite believe that our first sterilisation and treatment trip was in 2007; a year after Rob and I holidayed in Essaouira!
The care we give to the animals has come along in leaps and bounds and this is due to the dedicated volunteers and the support you have given us over the years; we could not have done this without you!
Warmest regards,
Co-founder/Coordinator
We are very, very pleased to announce that Claire is one of three finalists nominated for ‘Charity Professional of the Year’ in the 2016 Ceva Awards for Animal Welfare.
We’re very proud of Claire here at HSAM HQ; this gives well deserved recognition for all of the hard work and dedication that she has given freely to HSAM over the last 9 years.
Claire carries out 99.9% of the work needed to make each HSAM trip a success- a full-time job that she manages alongside her full-time role as a vet nurse!
Well done, Claire
To create a sustainable and healthy street cat and dog population in and around Essaouira, Morocco. By sterilising, treating and vaccinating against Rabies we not only give the animals a better quality of life, we offer peace of mind to a local community where the threat of Rabies is very real.
